Sandra Dworatzek, a Senior Manager at SiREM, will be featured as a session keynote speaker for session number 5 “1,4-Dioxane: Biological Treatment” which will be broadcast live from the Emerging Contaminants Summit at the Westin Westminster in Westminster, Colorado from 3:45 p.m. – 4:20 p.m. on March 6, 2018.
Sandra’s presentation is entitled “1,4-Dioxane Bioremediation: Lessons Learned in the Laboratory.” The sessions listed below are part of the summit’s live broadcasting program allowing attendees that cannot make it to the event the opportunity to view presentations & download valuable content. Attendees can play back the broadcast anytime they like. Sandra will also be presenting a poster presentation entitled “Bioaugmentation Approaches for Anaerobic BTEX Remediation.”
Sandra is a Senior Manager at SiREM, SiREM maintains state-of-the-art treatability, molecular testing and bioaugmentation culture growth facilities. Sandra provides technical oversight of laboratory treatability studies and the development and scaleup of new bioaugmentation cultures, including novel cultures for 1,4-dioxane bioremediation.
Most environmental conferences and workshops include some information on emerging contaminants, but the Emerging Contaminants Summit is the only one that comprehensively addresses mitigating the presence of these contaminants across all environmental media including surface water, groundwater, drinking water, wastewater, recycled water, soils and sediments.
