
Jacques Smith to Present at Georgia Environmental Conference
Jacques Smith, PhD, will present "Optimization of Bioremediation Amendments and Injection Approaches for Effective Remediation" at the Annual Georgia Environmental Conference from August 20 through 22, 2025, in Jekyll Island, Georgia.
He will speak on Wednesday, August 20, at 2:50 p.m. ET. Jacques's co–presenter is Gary Birk from Tersus Environmental.

Jacques is SiREM's United States Laboratory Manager who works at the firm's Knoxville lab. He brings expertise in environmental laboratory testing, biotechnology, and microbiology, as well as in planning and executing bench-scale treatability studies to generate innovative and unbiased remedial solutions. Jacques's work often involves next-generation sequencing, CCR waste reclamation, settling and dewatering, and wastewater treatment.
