
Phil Dennis to Speak at UNC Cleantech Summit
Phil Dennis will speak on the panel, "Bio Remediation," at the UNC Cleantech Summit on March 9, 2026, at 4:45 p.m. ET. The event will be held March 9 and 10 at the Friday Conference Center on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Phil's co-panelists are Tom Darden of Cherokee Investment Partners, Colleen Doherty of North Carolina State University, Danielle Stevenson of the Centre for Applied Ecological Remediation, and Denis Willett of Funga.
Phil is a Senior Principal Molecular Biologist and a founding member of SiREM. He is based in Ontario and brings more than 30 years of experience in research and management of molecular biology, microbiology, and environmental remediation laboratories. At SiREM, he focuses on managing research and development and directing molecular genetic testing services.
The UNC Cleantech Summit is an annual conference that brings together leaders from industry, academia, government, and more to explore innovations, policies, and solutions that advance clean energy and climate sustainability.
The event is co-hosted by The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Institute for the Environment and the Ackerman Center for Excellence in Sustainability in the Kenan-Flagler Business School.
