In December, SiREM celebrated Rita’s career and wished her well in her retirement. Rita was a mother figure who always made sure her SiREM family was doing well. She brought a sense of calm to everyone in the lab and took such pride in all of her duties and thus always churned out quality work. Rita was thoughtful, caring, funny, artistic, hardworking and we miss her every day. She always remembered the special occasions, whether it was a birthday, engagement, wedding and made sure that a card went around so that the team member was celebrated.
Rita will be missed both personally and professionally but we wish her well in her retirement and her next chapter!
