Rosemary Le and Corey Scales to Speak at Georgia Environmental Conference 

Rosemary Le, PhD, and Corey Scales will present "Riding the Tides of Dechlorination and Fermentation: Anaerobic Bioremediation Optimization in Coastal Groundwater" at the Annual Georgia Environmental Conference on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 11:10 a.m. ET in Jekyll Island. 

SiREM practitioners will be at booth 413 to meet attendees and answer questions about bioremediation and SiREM's services. SiREM is a platinum sponsor for the conference. 

Rosemary is a Science Professional at SiREM with more than 15 years of lab management experience addressing chemical engineering, biotechnology, sustainable energy research, and molecular biology. Rosemary's areas of expertise include treatability studies, method development, proposal writing, and research projects.  

Corey is the Bioaugmentation Production Manager at SiREM. He offers technical experience in the growth, scale-up, and field implementation of anaerobic microbial bioaugmentation cultures to degrade compounds, including chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, and recalcitrant compounds.
