SACNAS@USC is hosting a myIDP workshop this year. This event will help students learn about potential career paths and will include networking opportunities. The myIDP (Individual Development Plan) a unique, web-based career-planning tool issued by AAAS and Science tailored to help Ph.D. students and postdocs in the sciences define and pursue their career goals. By taking an online assessment, potential science careers based on your skills, interests, and values are ranked. This event includes informal interviews with speakers from the selected career paths. SACNAS is the Society for Advancing Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science and is a national organization aimed at promoting diversity in STEM fields.
