SiREM to Make Significant Contributions to Battelle 2024 Chlorinated Conference
SiREM practitioners will significantly contribute to the Battelle 2024 Chlorinated Conference from June 2 through 4, 2024, in Denver, Colorado. Our practitioners will present four platforms and three posters during the event.
Sandra Dworatzek, Corey Scales, and Sydne Spinella (Ontario) will present at the conference, and Sandra will co-chair two sessions.
Sandra is a Principal Scientist with more than 25 years of experience focusing on using bioremediation to address chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, emerging contaminants and other recalcitrant compounds.
Corey is the Bioaugmentation Coordinator at SiREM. He offers experience in the growth, scale-up, and field implementation of several anaerobic microbial bioaugmentation cultures to degrade contaminants including chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, and other recalcitrant compounds.
Sydne is a senior staff professional in the treatability division of SiREM. She brings expertise working in the environmental services industry, with a focus on above- and below-ground community responses to warming in alpine ecosystems.
Battelle’s Chlorinated Conference gathers environmental professionals researching and applying innovative technologies and approaches for characterization, monitoring, cleanup, and management of complex sites contaminated with the most challenging classes of chemicals.
