Phil Dennis to Present at ISMOS

Phil Dennis will present at the Tenth International Symposium on Applied Microbiology and Molecular Biology in Oil Systems (ISMOS) in Nashville, Tennessee. The conference will be held August 11 through 14, 2025.

He will present "Discovery, Characterization and In Situ Tracking of Novel Sulfolane-Degrading Microbes" on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 2:45 p.m. ET and "From Lab to Field: Using Anaerobic Approaches for BTEX Bioremediation with DGG-Plus Bioaugmentation Cultures" on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 11:15 a.m. ET.

Phil is a Senior Principal Molecular Biologist and founding member of SiREM. He brings more than 30 years of experience in research and management of molecular biology, microbiology, and environmental remediation laboratories. At SiREM, he focuses on managing research and development and directing molecular genetic testing services.

ISMOS is the largest event in the energy industry that discusses microbiology and molecular biology. The annual event addresses the application of emerging microbial and molecular tools and explores how these tools can help resolve challenges faced by the industry.
