Brent Pautler, Ph.D., (Ontario) will present “Patented Quantitative passive VOC soil-gas monitoring for vapor intrusion investigations with the Waterloo Membrane Sampler” at the Focused Remediation Seminars (FRS) Webinar at 2:00 p.m. EDT on February 23, 2023.

Brent’s co-presenters are Mark Dram of VaporSafe, Peter Crant of EPRO, George Ivey of Ivey International, John Wright of Field Data Solutions, and Laurie Chilcote and Craig Cox of Vapor Pin.

The Chemistry Services Manager at SiREM, Brent is an environmental analytical chemist with technical expertise in passive sampling, spectroscopy, chromatography, mass spectrometry, and chemistry informatics. Throughout his career, he has worked with scientists, engineers, and consultants, applying his chemistry and information technology acumen to help them solve unique problems in the laboratory and the field. He is focused on supporting and advancing SiREM’s passive sampling portfolio.

The 2023 FRS events explore best-available remedial technologies, advances in process chemistries, design and selection criteria, construction and implementation strategies, and field monitoring. Seminars are offered at no cost, and certificates for continuing credits, professional development hours, and licensed site professional credits are offered.
