Jeff, Operations Manager at SiREM, brings extensive experience in the laboratory assessment and field implementation of soil, sediment, and groundwater remediation. He often addresses sites with chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, emerging contaminants, and other recalcitrant compounds. Over the past 18 years, he has conducted and managed hundreds of bench-scale batch and column treatability studies and has technical experience in the growth, scale-up, and field implementation of several anaerobic microbial cultures for bioremediation remedies. Jeff was a lead member in the development of the SP3™ passive sampler.
Jacques specializes in environmental laboratory testing and manages the SiREM Knoxville laboratory. With an education in molecular biotechnology, he broadened his technical skillset at SiREM to include bench-scale treatability studies that generate innovative and unbiased remedial solutions. Areas of expertise include Next Generation Sequencing, CCR-waste reclamation, leaching studies, settling and dewatering, and wastewater treatment. Jacques also has extensive field experience in ground- and surface-water sampling, site clearing and drilling oversight, soil-core and sediment sampling, PFAS sampling, and stream inspections.
The Florida Remediation Conference a major soil, air, and water remediation conferences for practitioners across the Southeast. It attracts over 600 industry representatives, developers, consultants and contractors, and over 100 exhibitors and sponsors from across the country.
